Trusty Car Rental Inc. offers optional protection packages. Collision Damage Waiver is an option available for an additional daily charge, which when offered waives or reduces the customer's responsibility for loss or damage to the rental car, provided the car is used in accordance with all terms and conditions of the car rental agreement.

Please allow for an extra 10 minutes at our rental counter for us to get the information we need.

Based on your individual requirements, you may want to purchase some or all of Trusty Car Rental’s optional protection products. Your car rental agent will be happy to discuss the details. Here is the information to help you do your homework. There are 3 types of coverage that you can purchase at the rental car counter. Many of these may be covered with your personal or corporate auto and major credit card travel insurance coverage.
In the sections that follow, we provide you with brief explanations of our coverage products offered.
Loss Damage Waiver (LDW)
When you select our Loss Damage Waiver options, you are contractually waiving or limiting your personal responsibility to Trusty Car Rental for damage to or loss of our rental car. LDW is not insurance. There is a deductible on this coverage starting at $1000.
Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)
PAI provides certain death and dismemberment benefits, and medical benefits for the renter and passengers, for bodily injury, which result from an accident during the rental period.
Personal Effects Insurance (PEI)
PEI provides certain benefits for the loss or damage to qualified personal property while in the rental car.
